As a child, I remember waking up disoriented, confused. Once in awhile the dreams would return and in them the familiar spaces of home would warp and distort themselves into other realms ripe for exploring. Everyday things would assume peculiar purposes in "Lewis Carroll" fashion and there I was -- free to explore Wonderland.   Those memories remain potent today, but I've wondered for some time what it would be like to render these spaces, elaborate upon them and share the essence of the dreams that have tickled my consciousness for so long.
